The MLB postseason is here at last and boy do we have some great baseball matchups to look forward to. This year’s post-season matchups sees some familiar faces in both leagues, so you know these are some talented franchises that are ready to give their all as they strive to sell World Series tickets. In National League you’ve got three teams that have made it to the World Series this decade, two of whom won the whole thing. They are still going nuts for Phillies playoff tickets and are keeping their fingers crossed hoping to field the first team to repeat as champs in this millennium. You also gotta think the fans in LA are expecting big things after selling NLCS tickets last year. They are certainly a threat this year, and Dodgers playoff tickets are gathering plenty of attention. You also gotta think Colorado players want to put on a show for anyone that gets Rockies playoff tickets since the team made it all the way in 2007. And the Cardinals have been a steady power all season long. Just a few years removed from winning the World Series, Cardinals playoff tickets are going fast in St. Louis.
And the AL has some pretty big names as well. After all the hullabaloo surrounding the Yankees signing of free agents CC Sabathia, Mark Teixeira and AJ Burnett they made it back to the MLB playoffs in the first year of the New Yankee Stadium. You can bet fans are eager to see history being made in the new house, so expect Yankees playoff tickets to be very hot right about now. And the team the Yankees will be facing in the ALDS is the Detroit Tigers. They are starting to heat up right about now and with some talented pitchers they have the strength to hang with anyone. You know that everyone in Michigan would love to see the team take out the Big Bad Yankees, and Tigers Playoff tickets are as hot as they’ve been since they made it to the Series. And on the other hand you have the Red Sox once again facing the LA Angels, which seems to happen every year. This is the most loaded Angels team we’ve seen so you can imagine that Red Sox Angels tickets are going to provide some incredible moments.

The 2009 baseball season is almost here, and this year should be one of the most competitive MLB seasons in a long time. A number of teams have made some big aquisitions, while the economic situation has added some parity to MLB teams. The East Divisions in both leagues look to be a straight out slaughterhouse, as they might have the five best teams in the game between them in the Red Sox, Yankees, Mets, Rays and Phillies. And while those divisions will be heavyweight fights all season long, the rest of the divisions look to be about as even as they have been in a long time. The AL West saw the long-time divions winners the Angels take a step back by loosing both Mark Teixera and Francisco Rodriguez. At the same time the A’s and the Rangers have made some giants gains. The Mariners had a terrible season last year, but they have solid squad that should be able to hang. It should be fun to see whats happens in that division, and if you can get some cheap MLB tickets you will be in great shape for a good time. And in the AL central, the Tigers, White Sox, Twins and Indians all look about even, and even the Royals have made a few moves. The Cubs look like prohibitve favorites in the NL Central, but hopefully a season spent on cruise control wont end the same way it did for the Cubs last year. And the NL West has some very even teams in the Diamondbacks, Dodgers and Rockies, white the Padres and Giants have made some noise as well.
